Dr Croom graduated medical school from the MD/PhD Program at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He went on to complete his internship and residency in neurology at the Harvard Medical School Neurology Training Program/Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. He then completed a two-year epilepsy fellowship, also at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
