Gabor Matos, MD, is a part of the Springfield Clinic's Cardiology Department with over twenty years of experience providing cardiovascular care in central Illinois.Dr. Matos earned his medical degree from the University of Pécs Medical School in Pécs, Hungary. He completed both his internal medicine residency and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Ill.Gaining exposure to the health care field at a young age helped Dr. Matos decide his career path.
