As part of the electrophysiology team, we help manage abnormal heart rhythms with treatments like medications, lifestyle changes, ablations, and implantable cardiac devices like pacemakers, defibrillators, and loop recorders.

Kathryn (Katy) Mitra is an advanced practice nurse with over two decades of experience in the health care field. After many years as a bedside and advanced practice nurse in cardiology, critical care, and vascular surgery, she transitioned to electrophysiology, or heart rhythm disorders.
