Nadya M. Dhanani, MD, is board-certified in anesthesiology and pain management and specializes in interventional pain management. Her clinical interests include all aspects of pain medicine, and her primary focus is on treating spinal and cancer-related pain. She’s also an assistant professor in the Vivian L. Smith Department of Neurosurgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. Dhanani earned her bachelor’s degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and her medical degree at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore. She completed her internship training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and her residency in anesthesiology at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, where she served as chief resident. In addition, she was an instructor at Harvard Medical School in Boston and on the clinical faculty in the Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care, and Pain Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital.
