Dhanani earned her bachelor’s degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and her medical degree at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore. She completed her internship training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and her residency in anesthesiology at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, where she served as chief resident. In addition, she was an instructor at Harvard Medical School in Boston and on the clinical faculty in the Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care, and Pain Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital.
She has expertise in all aspects of interventional pain management, including:
Kyphoplasty and vertebroplasty for vertebral compression fractures
Stellate, celiac plexus, lumbar sympathetic, superior hypogastric and ganglion impar blocks and neurolysis
Facet injections, medial branch nerve blocks and radiofrequency ablations
