I always knew I wanted to be a midwife. Earlier in my life, I lived in Europe, where I had all of my children with midwives. I saw the benefits I got from the holistic, patient-centered midwifery care I received. I knew I wanted to be part of bringing that care to childbearing people wherever I lived. That is why I have now devoted my career to midwifery.
Outside of work, you can often find me enjoying a book. I am ravenous reader of fiction of all types. I'm always up for a good book recommendation. When I get time away, I love to travel with my family and explore close to home, or other parts of the world.
