I chose internal medicine since it allows me to get to know my patients and help them achieve their health goals throughout many stages of their lives. I see each patient as an individual and tailor treatment plans to them that take into consideration their goals and life circumstances. I strive to provide compassionate, individualized, thorough and evidence-based care.
When not at work, I enjoy hiking, being on the lake and traveling with my husband and our two sons.

When I was 9 years old, my parents went on a medical mission trip to Central America. This sparked my interest in healthcare, and I knew then I wanted a career in medicine. After college, I worked for a medical nonprofit in Honduras, which further opened my eyes to the importance of access to high quality healthcare.I chose internal medicine since it allows me to get to know my patients and help them achieve their health goals throughout many stages of their lives. I see each patient as an individual and tailor treatment plans to them that take into consideration their goals and life circumstances. I strive to provide compassionate, individualized, thorough and evidence-based care.
