My first career was very rewarding, but I'm even more fulfilled by my work in pulmonary medicine for children. I love seeing the smiles on the faces of my patients and their families when they can see and feel improvement in their pulmonary health.
I am methodical and detail-oriented in my practice. I also value building a personal rapport with my young patients and their families. I think developing those lasting relationships leads to the best health outcomes.
Spending time with my husband and our two young daughters is what I love to do most when not at work. We enjoy doing anything outdoors and take advantage of the beaches and boating in our coastal community as often as we can.

I began my career in medicine as a bedside pediatric nurse and enjoyed working in that role for more than six years before returning to school to become a specialist rather than a generalist.
