As a board-certified electrophysiologist, Dr Canterbury tests, diagnoses and treats abnormal heart rhythms, including atrial fibrillation, bradycardia and tachycardia. She performs cardiac ablations and implants cardiac devices as needed. Dr Canterbury believes in using her patient's goals to tailor an individual treatment plan designed to meet their needs. She encourages everyone to stay as active as possible, noting some rhythm problems may improve with movement and weight loss. An emerging leader in her field, Dr Annie Canterbury was accepted into GLOWE (Growth and Leadership Opportunities for Women in Electrophysiology) by the Heart Rhythm Society.
