Lisa Freese, MS, MEd, CGC is a board-certified genetic counselor who specializes in working with individuals who are planning to become or who are currently pregnant. She works with the Wilson Genetics Center and the Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) program in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Ms. Freese provides genetic counseling regarding prenatal screening and prenatal diagnosis. She also sees individuals and couples for genetic carrier screening, those who have a family history of a genetic condition or birth defect that may affect this or future children, and pregnant women taking medication or having other exposures.
