Sophia Ramsey, MHS, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant who joined the Thoracic Surgery team at GW Medical Faculty Associates in 2023. Sophia grew up in Pennsylvania and completed her bachelor's degree in Health Science at Lock Haven University. She continued her education at Lock Haven University in their Physician Assistant Program where she obtained her master's degree in Health Science. She is currently licensed in D.C. Sophia's clinical interests include lung cancer screening as well as the workup and evaluation of incidental pulmonary nodules. She currently stands as the Program Lead for the Incidental Lung Nodule Program at GW.
