About
My approach to patient care is based on treating the whole person with evidence-based medicine. I strive to find the root cause of any problem rather than merely treating symptoms. I am very interested in preventive medicine and often discuss with my patients how they can ward off certain conditions. That's always preferable to treating them once they surface.
I love being a generalist and getting to treat people of all ages for a wide variety of conditions. I stay current in my field by being a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the South Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants.
I enjoy spending my time with my family, taking road trips and enjoying the great outdoors.

Growing up in Portland, Oregon, I always wanted to use my interest in science and biology to help those around me and be a positive influence in the lives of others. I set out to make that dream a reality by earning my undergraduate degree in physiology before earning a master's degree in physician assistant studies.My approach to patient care is based on treating the whole person with evidence-based medicine.
