Vijay Karia, MD, is board certified in rheumatology. Dr. Karia earned his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine in the West Indies. He completed his internship at Hurley Medical Center and his residency at McLaren Regional Medical Center, both in Michigan. He then completed a fellowship in rheumatology at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. Dr. Karia specializes in treating gout, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and other autoimmune conditions.
