Services At Thrive Spine Center we use a number of highly-effective adjusting Techniques to help improve spinal bio-mechanics and reduce nervous system interference. The approach we use is based on our clinical findings, and what our patients feel most comfortable with.

The primary adjusting techniques we use are gentle and feel good. We talk our patients through the entire process and make sure that they are absolutely comfortable with everything we do first and foremost.

We also provide spinal decompression services.

Additional techniques we use:

Activator: This is a system of spinal evaluation combined with a handheld adjusting instrument that delivers a consistent, low-force thrust.

Gonstead: This full spine approach relies on X-rays and specific measurements of those x-rays to determine optimal results.

Diversified: After identifying which vertebrae have lost their normal motion or position, a specific manual thrust/adjustment is applied to free up “stuck” spinal joints into a more correct position.

SOT: Sacro Occipital Technique helps normalize the relationship between the pelvis and the head.

ArthroStim: This hand-held instrument applies a series of highly controlled “taps” to misaligned vertebral segments, avoiding the twisting, turning or “cracking” of spinal joints. This instrument is also what we use to help correct postural abnormalities.

Extremities: While many health problems can be traced to the spine, other joints of the body can be helped as well including shoulders, wrists, elbows, knees, hips, etc.
Trigger Point: By applying direct pressure or stretching the affected muscle, we can reduce muscle spasms and flush out pooled blood and accumulated toxins. This technique also helps to reduce accumulated stress and tension so that they are relaxed before we make adjustments.

Myofascial Release: We’ll find tender areas where muscles and connective tissue are producing pain and restricted movement and gently release it using an instrument called a vibrapercussor. This instruments gently helps to break up scar tissue and ease tight muscles from stress.
