Jaehoon Cho

Dr. Jaehoon Cho is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Digestive Diseases at Columbia University Medical Center and the Medical Director of Endoscopy at New York Presbyterian Westchester Hospital. He is an interventional gastroenterologist who specializes in minimally invasive procedures using endoscopy to treat pancreas, bile duct and gastrointestinal disorders in addition to obesity and other digestive diseases. Dr. Cho has a particular interest in bariatric procedures, including endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty and gastric balloon placement/removal. He is trained in other advanced therapies, such as endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), stent placement, removal of large polyps, and Barrett’s esophagus therapy. After graduating from Stony Brook School of Medicine with his medical degree, Dr. Cho pursued his residency at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. He then completed his Gastroenterology fellowship training at Brown University, followed by an additional year of specialty training in Interventional Endoscopy at Columbia University Medical Center in New York.
