Catherine McManus, MD, is a skilled endocrine surgeon specially trained to treat all aspects of thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal disease. She performs hundreds of thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal operations every year.
Dr. McManus received her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She subsequently completed her surgical training at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University, during which she also earned a Masters’s degree in Clinical Research Methods from Columbia’s Mailman School of Public Health. Dr. McManus also completed her endocrine surgery fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center.
Dr. McManus’ utilizes her degree in Biostatistics to perform high quality outcomes research that focuses on improving the care of patients with surgical endocrine disease. She is also passionate about medical student and resident education and has a special research focus in this area.
