Dr. Gavin Van Staden was born and raised in South Africa where he graduated from Medical School. He then moved to England where he completed his training as a Surgeon and went on to train further as a Family Physician before moving to Utah in 2005.Dr. Van Staden enjoys personalizing medical care based on each individual patient"s needs in acute, chronic and preventative health care for all ages including pediatrics. The areas of diabetes, hypertension, hormone replacement, sports medicine and weight management are of particular interest to him. A diverse range of surgical procedures are offered under his care.Dr. Van Staden"s medical and surgical skill sets allow for a convenient, efficient and relaxed “one stop” clinical experience. He believes in patient education and empowerment to best manage their own healthcare decisions and treatments as a team approach.Outside interests include marathon running, scuba diving, hiking, camping and most any activity where his family can join in.Welcoming new patients
