Jeff A. Robison, M.D. is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and holds the Robert Bolte Endowed Chair in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. He is the Vice Chair for Community and Global Engagement within the University of Utah Department of Pediatrics and is an attending physician in the Emergency Department of Primary Children’s Hospital. His academic interests focus on the improvement of emergency and hospital care for children in resource-limited settings, the impact of climate change on global child health, and the development of programs that link Academic Medical Centers with partners in both low- and middle-income countries as well as tribal and rural areas of the U.S. Dr. Robison graduated from the University of Utah School of Medicine after which he completed residency training in pediatrics at Columbia University/Children’s Hospital of New York. After residency, Dr. Robison spent two years in Malawi at Kamuzu Central Hospital working with acutely ill children and children with HIV/AIDS. He then went on to complete fellowship training in pediatric emergency medicine at the University of Utah/Primary Children’s Hospital. He is certified in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics.
