Dr Rahman received his medical degree from Dhaka Medical College at the University of Dhaka. He completed his Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Residency at Stony Brook University, where he served as Chief Resident from 2005 – 2006. He completed his residency in spinal and skeletal pain medicine at St Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica New York. He is a member of the American Academy of Pain Management, The American Association of Interventional Pain Physician, The North American Spine Society, and the New York State Pain Society.
