My name is Miqi Mimi Wang, MD, and I am a clinical assistant professor with a focus in foot and ankle in the University of Florida Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. I earned my medical degree from the University of South Florida with a scholarly concentration in biomedical research. Following medical school, I completed my residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont, and my fellowship in foot and ankle at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. I became interested in orthopaedic surgery because I enjoy using mechanics to improve the quality of life of my patients.
