Laura MacDonald, C.R.N.P., comes to Johns Hopkins Community Physicians after spending two years as an emergency department nurse during the COVID-19 pandemic. Previously, she spent 10 years in cardiac surgery, medical, surgical and cardiac ICU nursing. N.P. MacDonald graduated from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts with a Master’s of Science degree in Nursing.N.P. MacDonald genuinely cares about every patient interaction she has, which she believes comes from her background in nursing.
