Jacquelyn Charbel, DO, FACOS, FACS, is an assistant professor of osteopathic surgical specialties in Michigan State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine. She received her doctorate of osteopathic medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. She completed her residency training in general surgery through the Henry Ford Health System in the metro Detroit area. Dr Charbel completed a fellowship in minimally invasive colon and rectal surgery at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.
