Fernando Gomez-Rivera, MD, completed his medical degree at La Salle University in Mexico City and went on to finish his residency in General Surgery at the National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition in Mexico City. He went on to complete two fellowships - one in Surgical Oncology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and another in Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He finished a second residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Dr Gomez-Rivera is board certified in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and joined Kelsey-Seybold in 2023.
