I was inspired to study medicine because of my grandfather who was also a family medicine physician. I share his passion for understanding the pathophysiology of medicine and enjoy the challenge of problem-solving, including investigating the socioeconomic and psychological factors that may contribute to patients’ medical illnesses. By listening to his patients and being their strongest advocate, my grandfather made such a huge impact on their health and quality of life.
