I ensure medical options are explained clearly, and patients are included in choices. Support extends beyond treatment. It includes listening and ensuring a comfortable life outside the hospital. I do my best to inform patients about breast cancer research that I am involved with focusing on helping high-risk individuals and preventing recurrence. Working in medicine requires constant learning. Building relationships with patients and families is important. My colleagues and I guide, answer questions, and include everyone. The patient’s wishes come first. We simplify complex treatments. The best moments involve feeling heard and supported. My goal is to encourage hope and strength for everyone in difficult times.
