Dr. Eric G. Nelson received his Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from Hofstra University along with his Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech-Language-Hearing Science. He is a licensed Audiologist and hearing aid dispenser through the New York State Department of Education. He holds and maintains his Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). Dr. Nelson is an Audiology Supervisor at Weill Cornell Medicine, where he also completed his doctoral audiology residency. His clinical expertise includes the diagnosis of hearing loss, vestibular/balance assessment, hearing conservation, musician hearing protection, and audiological rehabilitation of adult hearing loss, including amplification evaluation, fitting, and orientation.
