Amy Sheer, MD, MPH
My name is Amy Sheer, MD, and I am an assistant professor of medicine in the division of general internal medicine at the University of Florida department of medicine. I graduated with a master of public health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and went on to medical school at the University of Florida, followed by an internal medicine residency, also at UF. I am board-certified in internal medicine. I was inspired to become a physician to reverse, prevent and treat chronic diseases. I have experienced firsthand the pain and hardships that preventable chronic diseases can cause, not only to the patient, but to their families. I am passionate about improving quality of life and adding life to years.
