Rene Przkora, MD, PhD
Rene Przkora, MD, PhD, MMS, joined the University of Florida faculty as an associate professor in anesthesiology and pain medicine in 2014. Currently, he is the associate division chief and the fellowship director of the multidisciplinary pain medicine fellowship program at UF. Before arriving at UF, Dr Przkora spent time at the University of Texas Medical Branch, or UTMB, as an assistant professor in anesthesiology and pain medicine. While there, he also served as the assistant director of the pain medicine fellowship program and the education director of the patient simulation center. In 1999, Dr Przkora received a medical degree from the University of Wurzburg in Germany.
