Sreekala Prabhakaran, MD

Dr Sreekala Prabhakaran has been a faculty in the UF Pediatric department since 2010. She is a Clinical Associate Professor and the Director of the Pediatric Severe Asthma Program at UF Health. Dr Prabhakaran attended medical school in India, did her pediatric residency at Maimonides Medical Center in New York, and completed both Pulmonary and Sleep fellowships at UF. She is board certified in Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine and Sleep Medicine. During her fellowship in the Pediatric Pulmonary Division, Dr Prabhakaran was a trainee in the federally funded UF Pediatric Pulmonary Center Interdisciplinary Leadership Training Program, a program on which she now serves as faculty.
