Dr. Marrero has also published research and lectured on a variety of topics, including esophageal disorders, irritable bowel syndrome, motor disorders of the esophagus, gastrointestinal bleeding, probiotics, pancreatitis and colon cancer screenings.
He regularly participates in the Memorial/LSUHSC Family Medicine Residency Program, lecturing and precepting residents.
