She supervises Columbia University Irving Medical Center’s perinatal clinic for high risk pregnancies complicated by medical diseases.
Dr. LaSala is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. She has recently published research on acquired heart disease in pregnancy. She is currently advisor on a research project to identify and quantify risk factors for preterm birth.
