About
Dr. Lowe received her medical degree from the Weill Cornell Medical College, followed by residency in Internal Medicine at Yale New Haven School of Medicine, then completed her fellowship in Endocrinology at Columbia University Medical Center. She is actively involved in medical student education at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, and is also on the teaching faculty of the Endocrinology Fellowship program at Columbia, where she is the course director for the Thyroid Ultrasound and Biopsy Course. In clinical practice she closely collaborates with her colleagues in Endocrine Surgery, Reproductive Endocrinology, Pathology, and Nuclear Medicine at Columbia.

Hyesoo Lowe
Hyesoo Lowe, MD is a board-certified Endocrinologist at Columbia University, and the Medical Director of the Columbia Thyroid Center. Dr. Lowe has a special interest in thyroid disorders including thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer, autoimmune thyroid disease, and thyroid illnesses in pregnancy. She has advanced training in thyroid ultrasound and fine needle aspiration biopsy, and is the Co-Director of the Thyroid Biopsy Program.
