Evan Ownby, MD

Dr Ownby is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. After earning his medical degree from Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University, he received additional training through a residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Indiana University. He then completed a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Ohio State University. He loves caring for the Lynchburg community because of the beautiful surroundings, small town feel and close connections within the community. When he is not providing care at the Heart and Vascular Institute, he likes to spend his time hiking, traveling and other fun adventures with family.
