He completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Luke’s Episcopal. He then completed a maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr Vel was drawn to obstetrics and gynecology because he finds it rewarding to improve maternal and fetal health outcomes and support a lifetime of well-being.
