I chose to become a physician so I could help children of all ages and provide guidance for families.Â I always knew I wanted to work with children, so when I decided on a career in medicine, pediatrics seemed like the perfect fit.Â I believe it is important to start young teaching healthy habits, like introducing fruits and vegetables and lots of active play.Â I work together with families to make a plan so their children can stay healthy.Â When I am not working, I like to read, cook, ride bikes and spend time with family.
