If you aren't Spanish you won't be understood, your terms and the way you express yourself will be translated to something negative or rude. You are blamed for their own staff's errors, then shamed for expecting swift resolving. If you are a multifaceted patient, with multiple health issues, conditions, past or current diseases, the paperwork required from them to help you easily and quickly get your care is delayed, at times incorrect and then you're insulted for the stress you put them through. The doctors are excellent, knowledgeable with above par backgrounds. Unfortunately, compassion runs thin, patience runs thinner, and if you dare to try to take part in your own healthcare you are tagged as a problem patient. I adored my doctor and the entire staff, until not long ago advised that they did not feel the same about me, but instead was told no one in the office likes me or wants to deal with me. I was told a lot worse than that, but will share only that for now.

My conditions were made to feel smaller than they are, insignificant, even laughed at, and I was compared with people who are currently dying or in far worse condition than me, so how dare I believe my conditions were critical or needed immediate attention. My cognitive and emotional issues were demeaned and insulted, rather than shown compassion toward. Getting a referral in a reasonable amount of time, or if behind on many things due to Covid, attempting to dare ask for ASAP catchups for watch and wait Specialist appointments, tests, newer medical needs and conditions annoys them and once again causes them to label you as a difficult patient, zero compassion and understanding, which genuinely took me back, as I did feel that they were my medical family and cared deeply. I now know why I've had so much trouble for multiple years and into the current time receiving my Authorizations in a timely manner, written correctly or never received a call back, as told by the doctor I was so grateful to have "no one here likes you or wants to deal with you." Once again, far worse was said and has been done, but that's all I care to share for now.

If you're Spanish, maybe it's different, as there are no Causations who work in that office and culture and language is key to communicate, something I never considered or noticed until recently. If you aren't a multiple disabled or have deficits person with multiple health issues, maybe it's different, I wouldn't know.

I've been deeply emotionally, mentally and physical harmed by this office, while all I've done is try to have my Dr. and staff know me as a full person, not just someone causing them paperwork, beg for help, compassion and timely Authorizations.
