Katia Adams, MD
Before moving to the U.S., Katia Adams, MD, earned her medical degree and completed her residency in vascular surgery at Santa Casa School of Medicine in S�o Paulo, Brazil. She then spent 10 years practicing as a vascular surgeon in Brazil and served as an instructor for vascular surgery residents. After relocating in 1996 to be closer to family, she completed a second residency in family medicine at the University of Cincinnati and has since spent more than two decades caring for patients of all ages. Dr Adams previously cared for patients at NGPG from 2011 to 2018 and also volunteered at Good Shepherd Clinic in Dawsonville during that time.
