Dr. Shamima Yeasmin is an endocrinologist and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. She believes in tailoring medical treatment to the individual patient. She has a particular interest in the management of diabetes. She provides care for patients with disorders of endocrine organs, including pituitary, thyroid and adrenal glands. She is originally from Bangladesh, completed a Ph.D. in molecular biology in Japan, a post-doctorate research fellowship at the University of Michigan and a clinical fellowship at the University of Massachusetts.
