As an advocate for colon cancer awareness, Dr. Aymerich emphasizes the importance of early detection and living a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Aymerich specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases, such as reflux, celiac disease, Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. He is well trained to perform a variety of tests, including Infrared Coagulation – for treatment of hemorrhoids, upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, and ERCPs. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology.
He completed his gastroenterology fellowship training and residency training at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. He received his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine.
