Would absolutely not recommend this doctor for Type 1 diabetic care. Her Jefferson Hospital office took weeks to prescribe insulin needed to switch over to an insulin pump, resulting in not being able to fully set up the pump during the training visit. Slow to send in insulin refills constantly. Office did not have any bottles available, either. This office then let the patient leave the training visit while bleeding out, after trying to put on a sensor while on blood thinners. When requesting an increase in the insulin prescription, had to go in for another visit, where this doctor proceeded to snap at the patient (without raising her voice) for a good few minutes, not addressing the patient's issue, and being incredibly rude, unfriendly and unhelpful. Patient was friendly with the nurse and calm with the doctor while she was going on her rant, asked for his issue to be addressed, and the doctor told him he would need to find another diabetes doctor, then left to get her office manager. At this point, we just left without saying a word.
