Tina Varghese, M.D. received her undergraduate degree in Biology at The College of New Jersey and earned her medical degree from Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School. She then continued her training at Emory University School of Medicine, where she completed both her Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowship. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, with additional certifications in Echocardiography, Nuclear Imaging, and Vascular Imaging. She is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American Society of Echocardiography and American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Varghese treats a variety of cardiovascular diseases, including coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, valve disease, atrial fibrillation, hypertension, and dyslipidemia. She has a special interest in preventive cardiology. She currently serves as the medical director of the Women’s Heart Program at Piedmont. In her spare time, Dr. Varghese enjoys running, reading, and spending time with her family.
