Dr. Rushaniya Khairova has extensive experience in women's reproductive mental health. She is the director of the SLUCare Women's Reproductive Health Clinic, where she treats patients with mood and anxiety disorders during pregnancy and the postpartum period, using medications as well as psychotherapy.
Her research interest is perinatal and reproductive psychiatry.
Dr. Khairova is an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
Dr. Khairova is a member of the American Psychiatric Association. She has a PhD (psychology), has authored multiple publications, and has received several honors and awards for her research in the field of mental health.
