Angel Alejandro, M.D., is a board-certified endocrinologist at Baptist Health. Dr. Alejandro specializes in diabetes, thyroid care and osteoporosis. He is fluent in English and Spanish.Prior to joining Baptist Health in 2023, Dr. Alejandro worked as the director of endocrinology at Leon Medical Centers in Miami. Dr. Alejandro played a key role in establishing programs using technology for diabetes control. His research currently focuses on osteoporosis and reducing fractures in women with breast cancer, and he most recently published an abstract at the ENDO 2022 conference.
