When not caring for patients, Dr. Katz enjoys gardening, traveling, and hiking. His favorite time spent outside of work is with his wife raising their three daughters.

Brian Katz, MD is part of Summit Health’s Gastroenterology team. Dr. Katz is a board-certified gastroenterologist who has practiced in Central New Jersey for over 15 years. His area of expertise allows for evaluation and treatment of digestive conditions such as heartburn, nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, hepatitis, and cirrhosis.
