Abdul Haleem, MD, is a neonatal attending physician at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr Haleem’s clinical focus is on the inpatient management of critically-ill newborn children, including premature (preemie and micropreemie) infants. He has a special interest in nutrition and preventive medicine in pediatric and adult populations, emphasizing lifestyle changes to reverse or cure chronic diseases. In 1990, Dr Haleem earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Sind Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan.
