He has expertise in minimally invasive valvular heart surgery and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). Dr Ferrante received his MD from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-New Jersey Medical School, where he also did a general surgery residency, followed by a research fellowship. He did a cardiothoracic surgery residency at the University of Alabama School of Medicine, in Birmingham.
