Francesco Santoni-Rugiu, MD is a member of Summit Health's Cardiology team. Dr. Santoni-Rugiu is a cardiac electrophysiologist who specializes in heart rhythm disorders with a focus on complex implantable cardiac devices such as pacemakers and implantable defibrillators along with the analysis and correction of the triggers of atrial fibrillation. He treats heart rhythm issues, performs pacemaker and defibrillator implants, and completes upgrades of pacemakers and defibrillators. Dr. Santoni-Rugiu’s care philosophy is to provide individualized precision medicine to advance quality of life. “My goal is for my patients to find their optimal quality of life and reach their functional capacity.
