In addition to her practice with Summit Health, Dr. Summa participates in volunteer medical missions that help infants, children, and single mothers. She has been a regional cable television "kids' doc," providing information about health issues that affect children. She also delivers invited community lectures and presentations about infant / toddler and parenting concerns and the effects of media in children.
Dr. Summa says, "Raising 3 boys has greatly increased my knowledge and understanding about all aspects of caring for children and adolescents."
