Petko Mitev, PA, has more than 20 years' experience as a surgeon and surgical assistant. Before joining Summit Health, Mr. Mitev was a surgical assistant for University Medical Center in Princeton, New Jersey. He also has been a staff surgeon and clinical research fellow at the Military Medical Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria. He was previously a doctor for the Italian Embassy, also in Sofia.
