His vocation for medicine started when he was barely 13 years of age. His grandfather wanted him to be a lawyer but his profession in medicine was much greater. He always wanted to help people by understanding their ailment and help healing them. .His goal is to get a smile from the patients and that they have hope and trust in him.
“I think I am a doctor because God wanted it to be so, the road was hard but with him everything is possible” He graduated from Instituto Superior de Ciencias Medicas de la Habana in 1992.
He continued his education in the Universidad de Costa Rica where he graduated in 1999 with the degree of Doctor of Medicine and Surgery. He has 28 years of diverse experience with area of expertise as General Practice. He is a member of the group practice Doctors Medical Center Inc. Dr. Hernandez Medina provides routine health care through physical examinations, preventative care, and diagnose and treats various illnesses and injuries.
