Dr Rey Vivo is a board-certified cardiologist who joined Community Heart and Vascular in 2014. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center McKeesport, followed by three fellowships: Cardiovascular disease (University of Texas Medical Branch), echocardiography (Houston Methodist DeBakey Heart and Vascular Center) and advanced heart failure and transplant (University of California Los Angeles). Dr Vivo is board certified in both Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology. He aims to improve outcomes for individuals with advanced heart failure, as well as to promote early detection and treatment of chemotherapy-related cardiotoxicity in cancer patients.
